"Roadeo" Registration 2026

Please go to the STAM website, schoolbus.org, and print the Roadeo Manual. In the manual you will find all the rules and regulations that govern the competition. There is also a layout of the course if you would like to set one up for practice.

If you or your employees still have a prior years' manual, it can be used to prepare for this year’s competition. 

The FIRST-PLACE WINNER from the Massachusetts Safety Competition will be sent, EXPENSES PAID by STAM, to represent our state in the International Safety Competition in Austin, Texas in June 27-28

At the Massachusetts Safety Competition, trophies will be presented to the first-, second-, and third-place winning drivers, as well as to the company or school district they represent. 

Directions to Bristol Community College: Take Route 24 to Exit 5 to President Ave. Follow signs halfway around rotary. Turn right at first light onto Elsbree Street. BCC is about ½ mile down on the right.

I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions: 

1.    I am not in the employ of the Massachusetts School Bus Driver Safety Competition or the School Transportation Association of Massachusetts.

2.    Both as to myself and my heirs and personal representatives, I release the liability and any right of action that may arise from any damage or injury which I may receive from attending or participating in said driving competition.

3.    The STAM driving competition or its assigns shall have the right to use any articles or photographs taken of me at or in connection with the competition for purposes of advertising, promotion, or instruction programs and displays.

4.    I wiII be bound by all orders, rules, and regulations governing the driving competition while participating in said competition.

THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS MONDAY, May 15, 2026. ENTRY FEE OF $50 PER DRIVER MUST ACCOMPANY EACH ENTRY FORM.

Contestant Biographical Information 

This brief information is to be used by the event announcer while you are on the driving course and for press coverage in the event that you are one of the three top finishers in the competition.

The Roadeo Manual is available for download at the STAM website, schoolbus.org. Click on "For Information on the School Bus Driver Safety Competition."  Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the Competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. 

CONTESTANTS ARRIVING LATER THAN 8:45 am WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
