SUMMER SESSION INFORMATION

From July 7th - August 11th
Our 6-week program is designed to bridge the gap between grades. While students work in a collaborative group setting, the curriculum targets the core mathematical and linguistic 'Survival Skills' necessary for success at any level. We don't just teach the grade; we teach the scholar.

For your flexibility we have a morning time (10:00 AM) or an evening time (6:00 PM).

Policies & Consent
Relaxations of Terms: No relaxation, indulgence, waiver or release by any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms. Tardy/Cancellations: If a session needs to be canceled by the student, the session time must still be paid for in full. The session can be rescheduled. There is a grace period of 9 minutes. If there is tardiness after 10 minutes by the student without notice, there will be a $10 late fee. If the student is 20 minutes late without notice, it will be considered a cancellation. If a session is canceled by the tutor, it must be rescheduled at no extra cost. No Warranties: The Tutor makes no promises or warranties with regards to a Student’s performance as a result of being tutored. Status of the Tutor: It is expressly understood that the Student retains the services of the Tutor as an independent contractor and not as an employee. The Tutor shall be responsible for his/her insurance and for all statutory declarations and contributions with regard to income tax. The Tutor will retain absolute discretion as to the manner of and means of the tutoring sessions unless involving safety of either the Student or Tutor which will be reported to Golden Knowledge Tutoring Service. Termination: This tutoring agreement may be terminated by contacting Golden Knowledge Tutoring Service by either party at any time with a seven-day written notice. With a partial refund (the refund does not include the sessions already completed). Whole Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be signed by all parties (student and tutor). Minors: Where the Student is a legal minor the Parent/Guardian shall enter into this tutoring agreement on behalf of the Student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the Student.
