  • The 2026–27 IRPE Summer-to-Summer Institute provides an immersive 10-month, two-path learning experience for Newcomers and Seasoned Professionals. 

    This inclusive learning experience for institutional research, planning, and effectiveness (IRPE) professionals focuses on equity-minded practice and social justice for California’s community colleges. The structure will include two in-person “bookend” convenings at the Kellogg West Conference Center & Hotel in Pomona, CA, with monthly virtual learning sessions scheduled in between.

    Schedule:

    In-Person Kick-Off Convening:

    • August 4–6, 2026 (Tuesday–Thursday, 2.5 days)
    • Location: Kellogg West Conference Center, Pomona, CA

    Virtual Sessions

    • Fall 2026 (September–November)
    • Spring 2027 (January–May)
    • Focus: Topics aligned with the two Learning Paths

    In-Person Final Convening:

    • June 9–10, 2027 (Wednesday-Thursday, 1.5 days)
    • Location: Kellogg West Conference Center, Pomona, CA

    *The RP Group member registration rate is available to participants attending from California community college institutions (college or district office) that are current RP Group members. 

    If your institution is not a current member but you would like to pay your institution's 2026-27 dues now to receive the member conference registration rate, check out how to sign up or renew your membership. Dues payments must be received by August 31, 2026, to qualify for the member registration rate.

     

    Cancellations & Refunds
    All cancellations must be made in writing via email to professionaldevelopment@rpgroup.org. Cancellation requests received by July 21, 2026, will be refunded in full minus a $75 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after July 21, 2026.

        Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the Summer-to-Summer Institute and other activities constitute an agreement by the attendee to The RP Group’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image and/or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.

         

        Electronic Recording and Broadcasting 

        No individual or entity, including a presenter/speaker, may electronically record or broadcast any portion of the Summer-to-Summer. Any recording (audio, video, etc.) of sessions during the program for personal or professional use is strictly prohibited.
