PRACTICE ATTENDANCE
Competitive cheerleading is a team sport, and attendance is essential.
Athletes are allowed 1 excused absence per month
Unexcused absences are not permitted
This is an 11-month commitment, and full participation is expected.
Excessive absences may result in:
- Removal from the team or program
- Removal from competitions
- Changes to or removal from routines
Excused Absences:
- Funeral/Wake
- School graded event*
- Pre-approved family vacation*
- Contagious illness with a doctor’s note
*Must be communicated in advance
Unexcused Absences:
- Transportation issues
- Family events (parties, dinners, birthdays)
- Homework or studying
- Punishment
- Non-contagious illness
- No call / No show
Repeated absences, even if excused, may still result in removal from the team, competitions, or program.
Attendance is mandatory for all required practices.
TARDINESS
Athletes must arrive on time to all practices and events.
Being more than 15 minutes late more than twice in a month without prior notice may result in removal from the routine or team.
Being on time ensures the team can use all practice time effectively.
BLACKOUT WEEK
Blackout are the 2 weeks leading up to competitions.
All practices during this time are mandatory.
Missing any blackout practices (including added practices), for any reason, will result in the athlete being ineligible to compete.
*No refunds will be given*
Blackout schedules will be shared in advance and may vary depending on competition dates.
SOCIAL MEDIA
All athletes, parents, and family members must use social media respectfully.
• No negative or inappropriate posts about Xtreme Generations, other programs, or individuals.
• No posting of routine videos or music (including live videos) without permission.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
