Open Call for Short Films during the LIC Arts Open:
We invite submissions from filmmakers and artists based in New York City. Our goal is to platform emerging voices and create spaces for cultural and artistic exchange that highlight diverse perspectives, experiences, and forms of self-expression.
While this edition highlights the theme New York City, we welcome shorts and creative works of any subject or focus. Films can be inspired by the city, reflect life here, or explore entirely other places, ideas, or narratives. We are interested in work that interprets people, spaces, cultures, and material life, how they intersect, entangle, and shape each other in surprising ways.
Submit your work and join us in creating a platform for dialogue, reflection, and imagination across the vibrant, complex landscapes of both NYC and beyond.
