• Camp St. Basil's Registration 2026

  • Start and End Times:

    Week 1

    Sunday, June 28:

    • 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.  Drop-off and registration.

    Saturday, July 4:

    • 10:00 a.m. Family Divine Liturgy, all are welcome to attend.
    • 11:00 to 12:00 Pick-up

    Week 2

    Sunday, July 5:

    • 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.  Drop-off and registration.

    Saturday, July 11:

    • 10:00 a.m. Family Divine Liturgy, all are welcome to attend.
    • 11:00 to 12:00 Pick-up

    Please Note: Drop off before 1:30 for special cases requires written consent from the Director. A snack will be provided for families, but it will not be a full meal. Please ensure your children have eaten lunch before arriving at Camp.

    If for unpreventable reasons you cannot make these times, you must write to the Director and obtain written consent in advance for other arrangements. 

    PLEASE READ: Due to high demand, this year campers will be able to attend EITHER the first OR second week of camp. They will not be able to attend both weeks. PLEASE do not sign up your child for both weeks. If you do, we cannot guarantee that you will be refunded in full. Please sign up for EITHER Week 1 OR Week 2. 

  • Registration Fees are payable up-front. Refunds will be offered up to and including Friday, June 5. Camp Fees for one week are as follows:

    Registration Fee for 1 Camper = $ 450

    Registration Fee for 2 Campers is $ 850*

    Registration Fee for 3 Campers is $ 1250*

    Registration Fee for 4 Campers is $ 1650*

    If you require partial financial assistance for your child to attend camp, please contact us at campstbasils@gmail.com  (Bursaries are available and will be provided on a case-by-case basis).

  • Please note that programming will be primarily in English, although catechism may also be offered in Ukrainian and translation is available for all day-to-day tasks. 

     

    Camp St. Basil's is a Ukrainian-Catholic summer camp where children will attend Ukrainian Catholic catechism and Divine Liturgy daily, but children of all faith backgrounds are welcome.

    Camp St. Basil's takes photos and videos of children participating in our camps for our records and for possible promotional purposes. However, we will not publicly publish them without your permission.

  • From time to time, we may take photos or videos during camp to capture activities and share the experience with our community.

    By signing below, the undersigned parent/guardian gives permission for their child(ren) to be photographed, filmed, and/or recorded while participating in the program.

    These images and recordings may be used by the organizers for promotional and informational purposes, including on our website, social media, and in print or digital materials related to the program.

    We may edit or use these images as needed, and they will remain the property of the organizers. No compensation will be provided for their use.

    By consenting, the undersigned also agrees to release and hold harmless the organizers, staff, volunteers, and affiliated parties from any claims related to the use of these images or recordings, except where prohibited by law.

  • May we publish photographs or videos of your child/children as they participate at Camp St. Basil's for positive promotional and fundraising purposes, such as in our camp website, parish websites, brochures, and other promotional and fundraising materials?*

  • Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

    I hereby give my approval for my child’s/children's participation in any and all activities prepared by Camp St. Basil's during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s/children's candidacy by Camp St. Basil's, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Camp St. Basil's and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

    In case of injury to said child/children, I hereby waive all claims against Camp St. Basil's including all staff members, volunteers and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities, including those participated within at camp.

  • Medical Release and Authorization

    As parent and/or guardian of the named camper(s), I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child/children, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

    Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named child/children. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

    Permission is also granted to Camp St. Basil's and its affiliates including directors, counsellors, and others to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to the child’s/children's admission to the medical facility.

    Release authorized on the dates and duration of the registered camp.

    This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence.

  • Responsibility for Property Damage


    The undersigned parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees that they are responsible for the conduct of their child(ren), themselves, and any individual authorized to pick up their child(ren) from the program.

    The undersigned agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any loss, damage, or destruction of property caused by the actions, negligence, or willful misconduct of their child(ren), themselves, or any authorized pick-up person while participating in or attending the program, whether on or off the premises.

    The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, staff, volunteers, and facility owners from any costs, expenses, or claims arising from such damage.

    This provision applies to all property, including but not limited to facilities, equipment, and the property of other participants.

    Assumption of Risk and Personal Property
    The undersigned acknowledges that attendance at the program and presence on the premises involves inherent risks. The organizers, staff, volunteers, and facility owners are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property belonging to the parent/guardian, participant, or any authorized pick-up person, except where such loss or damage is directly caused by the gross negligence of the organizers.

    Right to Refuse or Remove
    The organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to refuse entry to or require the departure of any participant, parent/guardian, or authorized pick-up person whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe, without refund.

  • Space Limits, Parent Volunteers, and Fees:

    Please Note:

    There are a limited number of spaces for campers. Registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

  • Cost of the Camp = $450 for the first camper in one family

    Additional siblings = $400 each

     

    PLEASE READ: Your card will be charged immediately upon submission. Refunds will be considered only in the case of unforeseen or necessary circumstances (e.g., emergencies) that prevent attendance. Approved refunds will be subject to a $25 administrative fee to cover processing costs.

    After June 5th, refunds will only be considered in the case of an emergency. 

    Upon submission and successful payment, your child is registered for Camp St. Basil's, Summer 2026. More details such as packing lists and pick-up/drop-off protocol will be e-mailed to you during the end of May.           • Parent Volunteers:

            A limited number of parents can volunteer to help reduce the cost of their child's registration.  If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the form that can be found at campstbasils.com under the "Get Involved" tab that can be found at the top right of the page.
