The Living Skies Regional Council Executive invites you to a meaningful weekend designed to refresh your spirit and be reminded that you do not do this work alone!

Connect with others, worship together, and take part in engaging workshops that equip and encourage. Grounded in the theme Toward 2035, we will dream and discern together for the church we are being called to become in the years ahead.

Whether you are seeking inspiration, practical tools, or new resources for church leadership, this weekend offers space to grow, listen, and be renewed together.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the registration deadline is TUESDAY MAY 13, 2026.
This registration form is for the use of anyone interested in participating in the day-long gathering and/ or the Celebration of Ministry banquet. Resourcing Compelling Worship Services with Piotr Strzelecki. For anyone who leads worship services – whether you’re planning for one service a year or dozens – this workshop will include a round up of current worship resources and creative options for collaborating on services that reflect the theology and ethos of the United Church of Canada. There will also be a preview of this summer’s resource from the Prayer Bench, and licensing has been provided by Living Skies Regional Council for all communities of faith to use.Re-Imagining Ministry with Children, Youth and Families with our First Third Minister, Lindsay Mohn. If you are looking for support and encouragement in ministry with young people in your particular context, join Lindsay for prayerful discernment about what that might look like in your community of faith.Our Building IS our Ministry with Jordan Cantwell, Growth Animator for the Prairie Regions. Our church buildings are landmarks, legacies and practical gathering spaces, and sometimes they can be a real headache. This workshop will be an opportunity to consider the role of the church building in your ministry to the community.Ask Me Anything with our Executive Minister, Shannon McCarthy. Bring your questions about church polity and governance, the work of the wider United Church, or the upcoming Roughrider season and sit down for a chat with Shannon.Workshop Sabbath: take this time to breathe deeply and remember that you are loved!
