1. Acknowledgment of Experience
I understand that I am participating in a multi-day travel experience organized by Underground Sommelier.
These experiences may include, but are not limited to:
Transportation by vehicle
Walking on uneven terrain (vineyards, historic areas, streets)
Visits to wineries, distilleries, restaurants, and markets, and other locations
Consumption of alcohol
Group activities and shared accommodations
I acknowledge that these activities are voluntary and that I am choosing to participate.

2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that travel and participation in these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Injury from walking, slipping, or uneven surfaces
Risks associated with transportation
Effects of alcohol consumption
Illness, allergic reactions, or dietary issues
Delays, changes, or unforeseen events beyond the control of Underground Sommelier
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

3. Responsibility & Conduct
I agree to:
Act responsibly and respectfully toward others in the group
Follow reasonable guidance provided by hosts, drivers, and partners
Make responsible decisions regarding alcohol consumption
Inform the host of any relevant medical or dietary conditions
I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from the experience without refund if necessary for group safety.

4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Underground Sommelier, its owner(s), hosts, partners, and service providers from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation in the experience. This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to injury, illness, loss, or damage.

5. Medical Responsibility
I understand that:
I am responsible for my own health, travel insurance, and medical needs.
Underground Sommelier does not provide medical insurance.
In the event of a medical emergency, appropriate care will be sought, but all costs are my responsibility

6. Changes & Cancellations
I understand that itineraries may shift due to weather, availability, or other factors beyond control, and that reasonable substitutions may be made.
I acknowledge that I have reviewed and agree to the stated cancellation policy provided at time of booking.

7. Media Release
I grant permission for photos or videos taken during the experience that may include me to be used by Underground Sommelier for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your spot on this tour is confirmed once your deposit is received. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward your total tour cost. We’ll follow up with next steps and remaining balance details.

Total Tour Price: $5,600
Balance Due: 30 days prior to trip start

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. The following policy outlines how cancellations are handled:
The initial deposit is non-refundable from the time of registration.

Any payments made beyond the deposit are refundable as follows:

50–80 days prior: 50% of the tour price minus the deposit is refundable
30–49 days prior: 25% of the tour price minus the deposit is refundable
1–29 days prior: No refunds

Transfer Policy
If your plans change, you may transfer your booking to another tour. There is a $200 per person transfer fee.
All transfers are subject to availability.

Minimum Group Size
Our tours are designed as small-group experiences and require a minimum number of guests to operate.
If the minimum group size is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In that case, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to Underground Sommelier, including your deposit.
We will notify you as early as possible and do our best to offer alternative options where available.

Unexpected Events (Force Majeure)
While we plan each tour with care, circumstances beyond our control may impact travel. These may include (but are not limited to) natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, travel restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
In these situations, Underground Sommelier reserves the right to modify the itinerary, postpone, or cancel the tour as needed.
If a tour cannot proceed, we will work with you to offer rescheduling options, credits toward a future tour, or refunds where possible, depending on the circumstances and any non-recoverable costs.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect against unexpected disruptions.
