  • Quickdraw Event: Please participate 50/50 dollar split with WAA!!!
  • If yes, please write your name and a brief statement about yourself.
  • Quickdraw setup may begin at 2:30. This year artists will have 90 minutes to complete their work. Please bring a suitable easel (i.e. French easel) and chair if needed. Due to space restrictions, all artists will need to work outside in the town square or across the street unless prior arrangements are made. Quickdraw will start at 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. You will be given 30 minutes to return to the gallery and frame your artwork for hanging. The silent auction starts at 5:00 pm. No sketches or markings are permitted on your painting surface prior to starting. You may work from the subject of your choice: sketches or photos. The size is limited to 12X12" canvas or smaller. WAA retains 50% of all sales and artists get 50%. Thank you so much for your participation! Good Luck!!
  • General Show Rules

  • All artwork must be pre-registered by the May 1st deadline.
  • There is a $20 fee per entry in the art exhibit for members. Each artist may exhibit one piece in each category. Show tags will be typed and handed out at check-in. No wet paint! The following art mediums are welcome: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, encaustics, graphics (pencil, ink, charcoal, colored pencil, etchings, engravings, mono prints), or any combination therein for the 2-D artwork. Pottery, wood, metal (no wax) are acceptable for 3-D work. No photography, digital, or computer generated or assisted work is permitted.
  • Artists are encouraged to enter all the following categories:
    • Landscape
    • Portraiture (to include still-life, wildlife, etc)
    • Sculpture/3-D
  • All 2-Dimensional artwork is limited to size 30x30" including the frame.
  • All 3-Dimensional work is limited to 16x16x16" and 10 pounds.
  • All hanging art must be presented in a clean, sturdy frame with proper hardware for hanging. Any artwork without a proper frame and hanging mechanism will not be hung. Gallery wrap canvas does not require a frame, but must have proper hanging hardware (i.e. wire and eye screws).
  • No sawtooth hangers.

  • Each painting must have the TITLE and ARTISTS NAME on the back or they will not be hung.
  • Please use common sense when choosing paintings to show. Heavy frames are at risk of falling and large paintings do not hang well.
  • ORIGINALITY: All submissions must be original artwork created by the artist. Artwork may be for sale. (Any artwork not for sale must be marked "NFS".) Original paintings should be completed within the past five (5) years and sculptures within the past seven (7) years. Artwork previously shown in WAA is not eligible. No prints. No photography, digital, or computer generated or assisted work is permitted.
