For partial school closures, pro-rated refunds begins from the 31st day of NYC Department of Education's mandated school closures. Please consider this policy before submitting your application.
Students are required to show school ID and their In-State bus pass when boarding a In-State vehicle. Lost bus passes will be replaced by In-State, on notice from the student rider with a forty-five dollar ($45) replacement fee. Replacement fees are payable by check or money order only.
This contract is valid for one primary pick up in the morning and one drop off after dismissal after the last period period. (The timing of our bus schedule reflects where the majority of our riders attend school. On occasion, the schedule of the two high schools differ. On those exceptional dates (approximately five per year), In-State will provide a general route with generic stops.) For students residing in two locations or for other special circumstances, In-State tries to accommodate students on additional routes. If an unsold seat is available, In-State will accommodate a student on a vehicle servicing a route different from the student’s primary route. However, many buses are filled to capacity. To guarantee two seat assignments on two different routes, students are required to purchase an additional reserved seat.
