2026 ARRL Youth Rally Registration

Connect with other young hams at Hamvention! The 2026 ARRL Youth Rally is a special feature of Dayton Hamvention®. Student participants will enjoy activities, discovery, sharing, and fun.

What: 2026 ARRL Youth Rally

Who: Students, 11 - 21 years of age

When: Saturday, May 16, 2026 (Hamvention is Fri., Sat., and Sun.)

Youth Rally Registration Fee: $20*

* While Hamvention admission is already free for students (high school students and younger), registration for the Youth Rally includes an ARRL Youth Rally T-shirt, badge & lanyard, tote bag, and free Hamvention admission ticket for all 3 days of the show; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

ARRL Youth Rally Agenda:

Youth Rally registrants should visit the ARRL Youth Lounge to pickup your Youth Rally t-shirts to wear all-day Saturday! Then, gather in Forum Room 4 at 1 PM for activities led by ARRL Education and Learning Manager Steve Goodgame, K5ATA. We'll get to know each other, and we’ll explore a variety of amateur radio interests and activities. Learn about satellite communications, participate in a short sprint contest, a foxhunt, make contact with a parachute mobile station, and other fun! It’s an afternoon of learning, experimenting, and having fun on the air and in the field. Bring a 2-meter handheld radio if you have one. Youth Rally participants are also invited to attend the ARRL Collegiate Amateur Radio forum at 4 PM.
