Midsummer Challenge is a 'by invitation event' open to all Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Schools.

Divisions available to compete in are Forms, Weapons Forms (traditional Tang Soo Do forms) and Sparring.

Midsummer Challenge Tournament 2026 - Accident and Waiver and Release of Liability Form - Please read Carefully
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: 

In consideration for the attendance and participation in the Midsummer Challenge Tournament, I, the competitor/parent or legal guardian to the competitor, acknowledge the existence of certain inherent risks in this type of competition and hereby agree to assume all risks. I further relieve the school, its services and management, assigned staff, volunteers and fellow competitors from any liability resulting from loss, whether personal belonging, bodily injury, permanent disability or death. Hwa Sun Martial Arts LLC shall not be liable to the competitor for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising due to injury to person or property arising out of or in connection with the use by competitor of the services, facilities, and premises of Hwa Sun Martial Arts LLC. I, the competitor or legal parent/guardian to the competitors, hereby hold Hwa Sun Martial Arts LLC, its officers, owners, employees and volunteers harmless from all claims which may be brought against them by competitor or on the competitor’s behalf for any such injuries or claims. I also hereby state that I or my child is physically fit to take part in the tournament and do so of my own free will in exchange for agreed upon fee. I understand there is no refund policy on any money I pay to Hwa Sun Martial Arts. I understand while participating in this activity, I or my ward may be photographed and agree to allow photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purposes Hwa Sun Martial Arts LLC decides.Please sign below.
