     FLAG 5U if 4 or 5 on or before 7/1/26
    FRESHMAN 7U if 6 or 7 on or before 7/1/26
    JUNIOR VARSITY 9U if 8 or 9 on or before 7/1/26
    VARSITY 12U if 10 or 11 on or before 7/1/26, player CANNOT be in 7th Grade.

    League: PBYFL - This is a competitive league with no minimum play time guaranteed. Birth Certificate, State ID, Passport, or Military Dependent ID will be required for Certification purposes. Player must be certified by PBYFL, or he/she will be ineligible to play. Some games will require travel.

  • COVID-19 WAIVER

    As herd immunity takes place, our state is still recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. Wylie Youth Football and Cheer (WYFAC) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, WYFAC cannot guarantee you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. 

    By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participating. Such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 through participating in the 2026 league season and may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, WYFAC volunteers, and league participants and their families.

    I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s participation. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless WYFAC, its volunteers, agents and representatives, of and from the claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of any organization whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the 2026 league season.

     

  • PARENT CONSENT

  • PARENT SUPPORT

    I, the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of the named participant understands this team will require my support and involvement. It is run 100% by volunteers. I am expected to help support the above named participant’s team by volunteering for activities required to make football a success for all children participating. Examples include but not limited to, working football chains, clock operator, monitor, helping in concessions, helping with water at practices, etc.

  • WYFAC LIABILITY RELEASE

    I, the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of the above named participants hereby gives my consent to his/her participation in any and all WYFAC activities during the current season. I do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the respective conference and any other organization that this football program is affiliated; including but not limited to, the organizers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, participants and persons transporting above named participants to and from such activities, for any claims resulting from injury to my child and understand that each team member is covered by secondary insurance in the event of physical injury to a participant. I hereby grant authority to any physicians to render such medical treatment as said physician deems necessary under the circumstances at the time of treatment. I understand there is risk of serious injury in youth sports of football and cheerleading and am willingly registering my child for participation in WYFAC knowing these risks.

  • WYFAC REQUIRED FUNDRAISING

    I, the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of the above named participant understand we are required to participate and raise funds for the WYFAC organization in order to off set costs of equipment, league fees, insurance and uniforms, etc. as well as help purchase items to help in player/cheerleader safety, etc. If the above named participant fails to participate in the fundraising activity or fails to provide the designated amount required to fundraise, there may be an extra monetary consequence or course of action deemed appropriate. I understand my participant may not be allowed to sign up for the following year without a zero balance.

    REGISTRATION FEE

    I, the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of the above named participant understands the registration fee required for each participant is used to pay the cost of insurance, uniforms and equipment necessary to provide a safe environment for the participant and other miscellaneous costs and activities. An additional fee of approximatly $70 will be paid by registrant to the governing league, PBYFL and is not the responsibility of WYFAC, at the time of the required online PBYFL registration. All equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, chin strap, etc.) is the property of the WYFAC organization and must be returned at the end of the 2026 season on a future designated date. If not returned, the participant will be prohibited from any future participation. All legal steps to recover equipment may be taken. Registration fees in no way assure a participant in every play of each game. This is a competitive league. A Player's playtime depends on the participant’s abilities, safety, attitude, quality and quantity of practice. 

  • Permission to Use PHOTOGRAPH

    I grant to WYFAC or its representatives the right to take photographs of my child in connection with WYFAC practices, games and events. I authorize, WYFAC its assignees and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that WYFAC may use such photographs of my child with or without their name for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as WYFAC publicity, illustration, advertising, social media and web content.

  • Disciplinary Authority

    I, the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) to the above mentioned player or cheerleader, agree to participate under the direction and authority of any and all WYFAC and PBYFL league authorities. I pledge to conduct myself at all times in an adult and sportsmanlike manner during any league activities to include all events, practices and/or games and do nothing that may be viewed by others as offensive or otherwise considered "acts detrimental to the league" as per the discretion of league authorities.

    Should I be disciplined by league authorities, I agree to respect and obey their authority and judgement. Acts detrimental may include but are not limited to: refraining from all use of foul, abusive, racist or derogatory language directed at anyone publicly, on social media or within earshot of the children at all times. I understand any ongoing escalation or threats will immediately precipitate a 911 call to local police or law enforcement to handle the individual(s) or situation deemed detrimental to the league by its authorities.

    I also understand any verbal assaults, taunting, brawling, fighting, instigating fighting or other forms of aggression, threats of physical assault or other similar threats in person or on social media will be considered detrimental to the league and may result in my immediate ejection from the WYFAC organization, team responsibilities, league facilities, or other disciplinary action including possible banning from future attendance at any and all remaining league activities for the remainder of the season. 

  • Other Requirements

    I understand the above named participant may NOT participate in any practices or games until WYFAC has received the above named participants full payment, State issued ID, required league forms for certification, etc.

  • FUTURE REQUIREMENTS:

    As our season prepares to begin, you will be REQUIRED to upload a Certified Birth Certificate or State Issued ID (State ID, Passport, Military Dependant ID, etc.) and a player headshot to the 2025 TYFA registration and certification system. If these items aren't uploaded and completed by the designated future deadline, your player will not be allowed to take the field. More details to come.

  • 2026 Registration Fees:

    Payment is REQUIRED to complete your 2026 registration. ONE PAYMENT PER FORM ONLY. Once we complete uniform fittings, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
