2026 Juneteenth Food Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in being a Food Vendor at the Downtown Tempe Juneteenth celebration! The event will take place on June 19th from 7pm to 11pm.

The Juneteenth Block Party in Downtown Tempe is a free community event that will be held at CenterPoint Plaza in the heart of Downtown Tempe. Juneteenth, a symbol of freedom, stands as a tribute to the African American journey in America. It invites people from all walks of life to gather to honor the freedom achieved in the quest for racial equity and justice.

Before proceeding with the vendor application, please review the Juneteenth Food and Drink Vendor Rules & Regulations Only trucks or trailers are being accepted. Please complete the application in its entirety, as incomplete applications will not be considered. A $10 application fee is required upon submission. The application will be open until April 30, 2026 and applicants will be notified of acceptance by May 5, 2026.

For this event, the vendor selection committee will take into consideration if the business is black-owned when making selections. By applying, you acknowlede the event is a symbol of freedom and stands as a tribute to the African American journey in America. As a vendor you are expected and agree to treat attendees with respect and support at all times.

By submitting an application to Downtown Tempe Foundation (DTF), I acknowledge that I have read the Juneteenth Vendor Rules & Regulations Handbook (linked above) along with the legal information in the document. - I understand the community health guidelines and safety requirements may change and I will be notified of the expectations prior to the event.- I understand that the DTF reserves the right to move my booth space if deemed necessary.- I understand I am responsible for my own electricity. It must be a 'whisper' generator or have a covering to ensure it is quiet. All electrical cords must be taped down and remain securely taped throughout the event.- I understand that if accepted and I do not adhere to the expectations, I will NOT be allowed to return as a participating vendor for future Downtown Tempe Foundation events. I have read and agree to the Juneteenth event Rules & Regulations linked above earlier in this application.*
