Class Description:
This class will cover the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel. We will cover cylinders, including cups, mugs, vases, and pitchers. We will learn the entire process through to a finished piece, including pulling handles, wedging, and glazing. You will get messy in this class, so please dress accordingly.
About the instructor: Rebecca Seidl

Rebecca began her pottery journey in 2016 in Athens, GA. In 2018, she started teaching beginners. Pottery is a way for Rebecca to connect more deeply with herself and with nature, and she loves sharing this with her students. She believes that pottery can be a very healing medium, and that everyone can benefit from a creative outlet. Rebecca's pottery (Smallest Sprout Ceramics) focuses on functional work, like mugs, bowls, planters, and vases.
