Join us for a relaxing Sunday Workshop to learn Embroidery on Paper for Book Artists.
Whether used as an alternative way of attaching papers together or as a decorative device for framing or illustrating a page, embroidery is a technique that provides texture, color, and charm to works on paper. In this workshop, you'll learn a variety of embroidery stitches on small sample pages that can be used as a reference for future projects in book arts, printmaking, and collage. We'll explore joining paper with other fibers, mark-making, creating pattern, and adding dimension to 2-D artwork.
Register online soon: first come, first serve.
Bring a bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.
Materials list will be emailed to participants as they register online for the workshop.
