WHAT: A queer, ocean, art event, featuring drag performances, an art workshop and ocean play and expression.

WHO: Presented by Queer Surf, this event centers non-binary, queer and transgender community, and is open to the public. Queer curious and queer accomplices are welcome.

3pm SPLASH: Surf, swim, plunge, picnic, read, nap, mingle, bird watch.
5pm- ART in NATURE WORKSHOP: “moving with grief” based on the creative process of “rose water sundaze” work, includes light light movement instruction and text by Jhia Louise
6:30 pm DRAG SHOW! Sunset seaside queer performance art hosted by Major Hammy starring Mary Vice, Beef Cakes and Princess Bouton

LOCATION & PARKING: Surfers Beach south of Princeton Jetty, just south of where Coronado Ave meets Hwy 1, in the most southern part of El Granada. Please be careful crossing Hwy1.
Parking locations and trails to access the beach:
Option 1- Along Hwy 1 north of Coronado Ave.
Option 2- Street parking in the neighborhood, taking Coronado Ave east.
Option 3- Park to the south along Magellan Ave, walk along beach or bluffs .4 miles north. From Magellan there is a dirt path with uneven terrain to get to the beach or walk along the hard packed dirt path on the low bluffs.
WHAT TO BRING: beach blanket, layers, picnics, snacks, your ocean recreation gear (please be independent in the water)
Art Workshop materials will be provided
ACCESSIBILITY: This event is free. Free street parking. There are single stall gender free restrooms located .2 miles north at Pilar Point or .4 miles south at Magellan Ave. The closest beach access is the staircase north of Coronado Ave. The beach is not wheelchair accessible however, the low bluffs directly above the beach are accessible by hard packed dirt path.
