WHAT IS THE NORTH BAY ENDURO? (Sept. 19-20th)
The North Bay Enduro Mountain Bike Race is a passion project of the local mountain bike community. It is an opportunity to showcase the incredible trail systems in North Bay while celebrating the hard work of local volunteers and trail builders. As the Provincial Championships, expect nothing but the best of the best in terms of atmosphere, trails, and experience! We have confidence that the winners will be rocking their Champion Jerseys in the following race day at Laurentian ;).
The 2026 North Bay Enduro returns as a double-header weekend featuring two unique venues that highlight the diversity of riding in the region. Riders can expect a mix of technical rock features, flow trails, and high-speed descents across both race days. Also to be expected, trail improvements upon last year's feedback, new trail features, new trails*, and cooler weather :)
What Is Enduro Racing?
Enduro races are composed of multiple timed stages (predominantly downhill) over the course of an adventurous ride. The premise is that it mimics a group ride - riding together with your friends to the stages and racing each other down a trail. Then regroup at the bottom and repeat! Also why not get a “guided tour” of our trails!
Racers will follow the mark trails to the beginning of each stage where timing will start. At the end of the stage the timing stops and riders work their way to the next stage, this is the “transition” and is not timed.
Riders must be self-sufficient, there is no designated tech zone along the course to repair any mechanicals or get outside support. Riders must also carry enough water and food to sustain themselves on course.
Riders assume all responsibility for themselves and comprehend the risks associated with racing mountain bikes.
