                    July 22nd, 2026 7:15pm-8pm

                    Kate Curley Park

Does your dog bark at, chase, or get too focused on squirrels, cats, deer, birds, etc? Then this is the class for you! In this 45 minute course we cover techniques that will help your dog feel fulfilled and learn how to work through those moments of when your dog is stalking a squirrel. There are 6 parts to hunting prey: search, stalk, chase, fight, celebrate, and consume. Let’s identify which one (or several) part(s) resonate with your dog and instead of suppressing or punishing their predatory instincts, let’s channel it into a more appropriate outlet while gaining control around prey animals. We will also discuss mark and reward training and how to implement THREE markers to make training more engaging for our dogs.

*if your dog doesn’t do well in a group setting or has severe prey drive the trainer may recommend private training sessions for more individualized help

The Client agrees to maintain control of their dog at all times and to follow all instructions provided by the Trainer. The Client accepts full responsibility for any damages or injuries caused by their dog to other dogs, people, or property.
