  • Registration Details

    All camps listed on the next page are $35 per camp and are designed for kids going into 4th - 8th grade.

    All camp participants need to bring their own sack lunch and drink.

    All camps start at 9 am and end at 3 pm.

    Cancellations prior to May 15th will be charged a $5 processing fee (per camp and per camper).  No refunds after May 15.

    Invent STEM - Wednesday, June 17. Held at the DUBUQUE County Extension Office - INVENT STEM invites youth to dive into hands-on innovation as they design, test, and problem-solve through exciting STEM challenges. From building solar cars to crafting paper circuits, mathematics of Art to Rube Goldberg machines, participants explore real-world science in creative, engaging ways. Perfect for curious minds ready to engineer, experiment, and imagine what’s possible!

    Held at the DUBUQUE County Extension Office - INVENT STEM invites youth to dive into hands-on innovation as they design, test, and problem-solve through exciting STEM challenges. From building solar cars to crafting paper circuits, mathematics of Art to Rube Goldberg machines, participants explore real-world science in creative, engaging ways. Held at the DUBUQUE County Extension Office - Dive deeper into STEM in this full-day adventure into engineering, robotics, and ocean science, campers work in small teams to design and build LEGO submersibles, then bring them to life using LEGO motors and blockbased coding. Along the way, they explore ocean layers, underwater technology, and the engineering design process by sketching out ideas and testing prototypes. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity! This high-energy camp is packed with hands-on problem-solving, collaboration, and fun!

    Pen to Pasture - Wednesday, July 8 . Held at the DUBUQUE County Extension Office - Pen to Pasture Livestock Learning Workshop introduces and teaches youth about livestock by-products, animal anatomy, livestock breeds, structural differences, medication labels, cuts of meat, and animal handling and management all through hands on learning activities covering the beef, sheep, goats, and swine! Youth will discuss and explore opportunities in meat judging, livestock judging, quiz bowl, and skillathon, along with careers in the livestock industry.
