    Private property ~1 hour north of Chicago, just off I-94 in Kenosha, WI. Exact address will be sent to confirmed registrants.

    Schedule

    Times are approximate - but the "field" classes will run in the morning and the "urban" classes in the afternoon.

    TIME TOPIC/ACTIVITY NOTES
    9 AM - lunch Shed Hunt and Trailing & Locating Runs Intros will run first for each sport, then Level 1, followed by Level 2 dogs. A more detailed schedule will be emailed the day prior.
    Lunch Break On Own
    2 PM-finish Urban Locating and Lost Item Runs

    +ending time may vary based on signups, but should be no later than 1 PM for the morning section and 5 PM for the afternoon section

    Fees

    Join us for the whole day OR mix & match the parts you are interested in...

    • Training Runs in one sport in a block (AM or PM) - $40
    • Training Runs in both sports in a block (AM or PM) - $75

    ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

    • come try any/all of these sports for the first time
    • teams with prior experience can practice and work on advancing skills

    Training opportunities and search areas will be aimed for dogs preparing for NASDA Level I and II searches.

  • Registration limit: 2 dogs per handler (adult human) attending in the same time slot. If bringing two dogs, one dog will need to be able to crate in the car while you run the other.

  • Event Waiver

    1) I represent that I am the legal owner of the registered dog(s) and I assume all risks, dangers, and responsibility for injuries to the named dog(s). I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for any harm to my dog(s) while on premises owned or rented by City Sniffers Dog Sports Training.

    2) PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: I agree to allow City Sniffers Dog Sports Training to use my dog's name and any image, likeness, or recording of my dog taken while in a class, lesson, workshop, seminar, fun run/mock trial, or other event, in any form, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, and I release to City Sniffers Dog Sports Training all rights that I may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.

    3) RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I understand and agree that neither City Sniffers Dog Sports Training, their owners, their landlords, nor any of their employees, staff, or volunteers will be liable for any illness, injury, death, and/or escape of my dog(s) provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed, and I hereby release City Sniffers Dog Sports Training and all associated staff or volunteers thereof of any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from or as a result of my dog(s) attending this training event.

    I further release City Sniffers Dog Sports Training and all agents, officers, sub-contractors and employees thereof from any and all liabilities, and otherwise, for injuries to myself, my dog, or any other property of mine, which arise in any way from services and/or products provided by or as a consequence of our association.

    4) PERSONAL PROPERTY: I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm caused by my dog(s), including to any other dog(s), to the employees, volunteers, or invitees of City Sniffers Dog Sports Training, or to the equipment, facilities, or other property owned or rented thereof. I further agree that City Sniffers Dog Sports Training and its associates shall not be responsible or liable for any lost or damaged personal property belonging either to myself or my dog.

    5) RIGHT OF REFUSAL: City Sniffers Dog Sports Training reserves the right to refuse admittance to any dog displaying aggression to spectators or staff. The determination shall be made at the sole discretion of City Sniffers Dog Sports Training.

    I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS "WAIVER AND RELEASE" AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE AND DISCHARGE MEGAN RENNER, CHARLIE SHAHBAZIAN, MARY SHAHBAZIAN, AND ALL OF THEIR AFFILIATES, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, REPRESENTATIVES, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION AND I AGREE TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR WAIVE ANY RIGHT THAT I OTHERWISE HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE SAME FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

    To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for ordinary negligence, this release is also for such negligence on the part of Megan Renner, City Sniffers Dog Sports Training, and their agents and employees.

    I, THE UNDERSIGNED PARTICIPANT, AFFIRM THAT I AM OF THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OR OLDER, AND THAT I AM FREELY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, THAT I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT, THAT I AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AND THAT THIS RELEASE CANNOT BE MODIFIED ORALLY. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND THAT I AM SIGNING OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

  • Facility Policies

    • You MUST pick up after your dogs -- bring extra poop bags!!
    • Dogs must be on leash or secured in a crate or in your car at all times; no socializing with other dogs.

    Equipment Policies & What to Bring

    • Collars: No electronic/shock/bark collars, no choke collars, no uncovered pinch/prong collars, no head halters.
    • Leashes: No flexi/retractable leashes.
    • You will need a long line of at least 15-20' in length for the "field" searches in the morning and 10-15' in length for the "urban" searches in the afternoon. If you have one, please bring it. If not, we will have some available to borrow. It's also recommended to bring your dog in a harness rather than attach the long line to the collar.

    Event Registration Policies

    Payments & Refunds
    Events must be paid in full at the time of online registration in order to reserve your spot. If you choose to cancel registration for an event, you must notify City Sniffers in writing at info@citysniffers.org. No refunds will be issued for event cancellations made less than 5 days in advance of the start date. This is without exception. If you cancel at least 5 days in advance of the start date, you will receive a refund of the original amount paid, minus a 10% processing fee.

    Missed Events
    City Sniffers does not refund or credit accounts for missed events, regardless of reason.

    Cancelled Events
    In the event of an event cancellation by City Sniffers, students will be offered the choice of either a full refund or alternate date to attend the same event.
