Introduction to Welding: 48-Hour Course

Introduction to Welding 48 Hour Course includes:  16 / 3 Hour Classes with Instruction and Hands-On Training. 

 

This Course is Designed to Prepare Students for the Intermediate and Advanced Welding Courses Offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion.                     

Introduction to Welding 48 Hour Course Fee: $995

This fee includes:  Use of Welding Booths and Materials, In-person Theory, Hands-on Instruction, and Eye and Ear Protection.

 

PPE Items/Tools Student Must Have for First Day of Class:

Welding Helmet (Auto Darkening Recommended)

Torch-Burning/Grinding Face Shield (If Not Using an Auto Darkening Helmet)

Welding Gloves

Leather Welding Jacket or Sleeves or Comparable Jacket

Steel-Toe Boots

Cotton or Fire-Resistant Clothing

Chipping Hammer

Carbon Steel Wire Brush

These items are recommended brands but do not have to be the brand you purchase. You must have the PPE items for the first day of class.  Not provided by RMCTC.
