Event Name: Spring Fling: A First Fridays Pop-Up Experience
Dates: Friday, April 3rd 2026 4pm - 8pm
Location: The Guild, 1621 Locust St, Kansas City, MO 64108
Details about the Event: Mo' Sophisticated Events focuses on supporting local small businesses, Building connections within the community, and creating a space for sales, networking, and empowerment. Please Read Additional vendor agreement & Event Policies HERE.
General Guidelines:
Booth Setup: Vendors are responsible for setting up their booths on time. There are set up times available Friday Starting at 3pm. All booths must be fully set up and ready by 4:00pm. Breakdown must be done by 9pm. Doors open to the public at 4pm. Please unload at designated space but move your vehicle to vendor parking. Vendors must stay for the duration of the event unless approved beforehand, Any vendors that leave before 6pm without approval will not be able to attend any future Mo' Sophisticated Events.
Space Requirements: Each vendor will have a approximate 10x10 space and two chairs. Vendors will be responsible for own set-up tables, etc. Optional Table rental for additional $10 (Limited available; First come First Served)
Booth Fees: $127 per day Indoors; $97 per day Outside Garden
Products: Please ensure that your products are appropriate for a family-friendly environment. No illegal, harmful, or controversial items are allowed for sale.
Sales and Payments: Vendors are responsible for their own sales transactions, including processing payments and handling taxes. Bring Sufficient change for cash transactions.
Staffing: Each booth must be staffed at all times during event hours. Vendors are responsible for conduct and behavior of their staff.
Health & Safety: All Vendors must comply with health and safety regulations. Any spills or hazards must be cleaned up immediately.
Clean-Up: Vendors must keep their booth area clean and free of clutter throughout event. After the event, vendors are responsible for cleaning up their space and disposing of any waste properly. Please do not leave any trash behind, please use waste baskets for disposals.
Conduct:Professional Behavior Vendors are expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. No disruptive behavior, loud music, or aggressive sales tactics are permitted.
Conflict Resolution: In case of disputes or issues, vendors should contact event coordinators for resolution.
Sales Tax Reporting: Vendors are required to follow all Kansas/Missouri state and local sales tax regulations. This includes collecting and submitting any applicable sales tax. A valid Kansas/Missouri Sales Tax ID must be provided to Mo’ Sophisticated Events when you submit your vendor form. At each event, Mo’ Sophisticated Events will supply vendors with the appropriate Kansas/Missouri sales tax reporting form, which vendors are responsible for completing and sending directly to the state.
Disclaimer: Mo' Sophisticated Events are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Mo' Sophisticated Events are NOT responsible for ANY injuries. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all vendors to secure each booth to protect the public, your business, and others.
Cancellations: BOOTH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! However, Booth fees may be applied to future events if cancelled, upon event coordinator discretion.
Communication Updates:Vendors will receive important updates via email leading up to the event. Please ensure your contact information is accurate.
Emergency Procedures:Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures for the venue.
