WV Country Roads Festival – Overnight Camping Policy
All camping rules are strictly enforced. Upon non-compliance you may be asked to leave without a refund.
Camping fee is $25.00 per night per camper/RV and includes electric and water hook-ups.
Tent camping is available at $10.00 per night
All camping occupants are required to purchase admission bands. Daily festival admission is $5.00 per person (ages 5 and under are free). Daily admission can be paid at the gate when you arrive. Bands will be given on the day you pull in to begin camping.
Camping Rules
1.) Speed Limit in the camping area is 10 mph.
2.) Quiet hours are from 11:00 P.M. to 08:00 A.M.
3.) ATV or Off-road motorbikes are not permitted on the grounds, except for the festival's supervised events, at which they must remain in the event area.
4.) Loud or excessive noises, demonstrations, disturbances, disorderly conduct, profanity, public drunkenness, possession of alcohol under the age of 21, and the possession or use of controlled substances is prohibited.
5) No more than two (2) personal vehicles per campsite. One car pass will be included in the camping fee. 1 extra pass is available for an additional $15.00.
6.) Destruction, defacement, or alteration of the 4-H property is prohibited. This includes digging or leveling of the grounds, removal of tree limbs or vegetation.
7.) Please do not damage the trees. Cutting trees or shrubs, carving, breaking branches, driving nails into, or other uses, which could damage these resources, is prohibited.
8.) Bicycles must remain in the camping area and are not to be in the midway, track, barn, or any other area. Riding must only be in the designated camping area ONLY.
9.) Shower facilities are available in the shower house located beside the Mollohan Center. Please help keep them clean.
10.) The camp lessee must be 18 years of age or older to rent a campsite. That individual will be responsible for any damage that occurs.
11.) Campers are responsible for the cleanliness of the camp space. Please place all trash in designated trash receptacles. The area must be cleaned upon departure from the festival. At the end of the festival, the camping director and/or board members will inspect the camp site. Groups or individuals who leave the camp site in unsatisfactory condition may be denied future accessibility to the camping area.
12.) No open FIRES are permitted outside of the large fire circle at the center of the camping area. Camp stoves, BBQ grills, and portable fire pits may be used in the vicinity of individual campsites. However, they must be away from any vehicles, campers, or flammable materials. Portable pits must only contain small fires, or you will be asked to extinguish the fire and will be denied further use of the pit.
13.) A 30-day cancellation notice must be given. Refunds will not be entertained if canceled outside the 30-day window. If the festival should be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be refunded the camping fee paid.
14.) Open containers of alcohol are to be kept within your camping area and disposed of properly. Possession of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21 is strictly prohibited.
15.) Pets must be on a leash and are not to be left unattended. Pets are to remain at your campsite unless the pet is a support animal. Certification of support must be provided. Respect the rights of others and be sure to clean up after your pet.
16.) Car pass must be visible in the window of any car at camper.
17.) Vehicles are to be parked in a safe manner and not to be blocking roadways. Access to roadways may be necessary in case of an emergency.
