Social Media Strategy for Artists
Jasper Wilde is a marketing and communications specialist and practicing abstract artist who helps artists navigate the changing world of social media. In this practical 2-hour workshop, Jasper will break down how artists can use social media strategically to promote their work and grow their audience. Participants will learn best practices for posting artwork online, including image cropping and aspect ratios, how platforms display images on profile grids, and how to create promotional graphics using tools like Canva. The workshop will also explore key platform features—such as posts, stories, carousels, and video—along with a clear framework for promoting your work at different levels, from simple posting to more advanced content strategies.
