About the Workshop:
Join Candace Garlock in her studio to create one-of-a-kind monotype prints with gelatin plate printing! This Open Studio setting allows for interested participants to arrive anytime between 10 and 2:00.
All materials and supplies are included.
Day & Time: Saturday, April 11, Anytime between 10a - 2p
Place: Travlers' Rest State Park, 6717 US-12, Lolo, MT 59847
Audience: This workshop is suitable for all ages
What to bring: no preparation is necessary!
Cost: The workshop is free, but a suggested donation is appreciated!
Registration: Registration is required, but hours are flexible. Plan to spend at least 45 minutes on your print.

About the Artist:
Candace Nicol Garlock is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Nevada whose work intertwines printmaking, painting, photography, and sculpture into richly layered, mixed-media compositions. A professor of art at Truckee Meadows Community College, she is known for exploring relationships between people, their bodies, and the environments they inhabit, often engaging questions of identity, the female gaze, and social narratives through experimental print processes.
