Military Teen Adventure Camp

Are you 13-18? Do you enjoy the outdoors and trying new things? Is your guardian Active Duty, Guard, Deployed, Reserve or Retired? THEN…NOVA 4-H Military Teen Adventure Camp is the place to be this summer! Join us for a week-long adventure in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley while learning new skills and exploring how awesome it feels to step outside of your comfort zone!

Campers will participate in traditional camp activities, adventure activities, leadership activities, and more. Lodging will be a mixture of semi-private lodge rooms and camping out under the night sky.

Activity Options:

Hiking on the AT, Teambuilding, High Ropes with Zipline, Rockwall and Leap of Faith, Canoeing, Wilderness Survival, Outdoor Living Skills, Archery,Environmental Education, and More!
Basecamp is at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal, VA
* Please note that registration will close Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at 11:45pm unless it meets capacity before then. Campers flying in need to be at least 14 years old.

The Northern Virginia 4-H Center IS NOT responsible for any reimbursement for travel fees made.

A stipend reimbursement from the Grant is available to families. Travel allowance is not to exceed $300 per person for roundtrip travel per the Grant requirements.
