For 125 years, the skilled men and women of lronworkers Local 25 have helped build Michigan from the ground up and the sky down.
From the bridges that carry our families home, to the factories, hospitals, stadiums, and skylines that define our communities, our members have been the backbone of the state's infrastructure since our charter in 1901. Generation after generation, ironworkers have shown up before dawn, worked at heights few would dare, and carried forward a proud tradition of craftsmanship, grit, and brotherhood.
Every beam set and every structure raised tells a story, not just of steel, but of people. We are deeply grateful to the members, contractors, and partners who paved the way and built the foundation that allows us to keep growing today. Their legacy is the reason Local 25 remains strong 125 years later.
To honor this historic milestone, we are proud to host the lronworkers Local 25 125th Anniversary Gala on July 18, 2026, at the Atheneum Suite Hotel in Detroit. This special evening will bring together contractors, partners, instructors, apprentices, retirees, and community leaders to celebrate our past, recognize the present, and look ahead to the next century of building Michigan.
