JACQUELINES STORY
I had the pleasure of meeting Jacqueline when I opened my practice 20 years ago as a client, then Reiki student and friend. She has been on a long journey with cancer and is now healing after a double mastectomy. She is a beautiful soul, woman, mother, friend, Reiki practitioner, believer, warrior and so much more… My hope is to make her healing journey a little easier by easing her financial stress and sending a little extra love her way. If you are unable to donate, your healing prayers are appreciated.

I had my first encounter with breast cancer 8 years ago and went through surgery, chemo & radiation. In January of last year, I found a lump in my other breast and after numerous tests, dr appts etc. I was diagnosed again. I have been undergoing treatment, more appointments, lab work etc. I’ve had to have a double mastectomy which includes 3 very painful surgery’s spaced over several months. I finished chemo in December and I have surgery number 2 this week on March 13th to have muscle removed from my back for reconstruction.Â
I started a new job when I was diagnosed which means no benefits, medical EI, no safety net and no partner to help. I’m still working from home as much as I can to stay afloat while going through chemo. It’s been hard work as I go through treatment and I need to take time off for appointments and after my surgeries to heal, there’s no way around it. I’m exhausted, but my body keeps fighting hard as am I.Â
