• Hope in Song

    Join us April 12, 2026 from 2 pm -3:30 pm. When we gather in song, something powerful happens. A musical accompaniment to the Aplomb exhibition "Hope is," this all-ages event blends positive, community-grounding songs- many of them interactive- with the stories and process behind the music and on-the-spot songwriting to create our own hopeful tune. Attendees will also be invited to create feather art to go along with the theme. Hosted at Aplomb Gallery 262 Central Ave, Dover, NH. Free parking in back off of Kirkland Street.

    • About the Instructor: Andrea Szirbik Groft, known on stage as Friend Andrea, is a singer-songwriter based in Berwick, Maine. Her experience as a mother of four, partner, and teacher shapes her original music for children, families, and the wider human family. Rooted in Friendly values of peace, community, and integrity, she weaves songs, the stories behind them, and her songwriting process into a shared journey- encouraging creativity and authenticity in a way that feels more like friendship than performance.
