    We are very excited for Step Out's Buffalo Artisans & Flea Market.     About the Event:

    From the team behind Makers + Shakers: Boozy Artisan Market comes Step Out Buffalo's Buffalo Artisans & Flea market event, offering a modern shopping experience. With all the perks of your favorite SOB events, but this time outside during Buffalo's best season!

    Featuring creators and curators, this modern market will take place this summer outside in the lot at 95 Washington St in Downtown Buffalo’s Historic Cobblestone District. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop at a curated marketplace of WNY's best local artisans, makers, collectors, and curators while enjoying music, food trucks, a bar with adult and sober-friendly beverages, boozy samples from local makers, and more!

    For one weekend only, we invite vendors to set up and showcase their new and vintage collections, including home goods, art, apparel, candles, jewelry, Buffalo goodies, accessories, specialty food & drink, paper goods, beauty and spa products, craft booze, gifts, and whatever else our incredibly talented friends and neighbors come up with next.

      Please note we will be limiting space availability for resale vendors moving forward.

     

    Vendor Selection Process:
    This is a juried show. Vendor selection is based soely on the discretion of event organizers and combines a variety of factors including but not limited to:

    • Category
    • Vendor type
    • Product Fit
    • Booth Display
    • Differentiators
    • Past participation in this and other SOB events
    • Vendor cooperation and professionalism

    Our goal is to create an event that remains relevant, high quality, and on trend for attendees - we remain committed to showcasing a healthy mix of long standing vendors and new up and coming talent. While we truly appreciate the support from vendors over the years and absolutely take past participation in our events into consideration, it does not guarantee future acceptance. Step Out Buffalo reserves the right to curate vendors as we see fit in order to produce the best possible event for all parties.

    *Vendors must stay for the entire duration of the event, may not pack up early, and must vend for all days. Event is rain or shine.

    *Vendors must be prepared and set up a half hour before we open doors. No exceptions.

     

    Cost to Participate

    $10 non-refundable application fee, required for submission

    $470 for one 10X10ft. vendor space for both days

    *Cost to participate INCLUDES your special event temporary stand/exhibitor license from the City of Buffalo ($35 value).

     

    Vendor Requirement Overview:

    1. Vendors MUST supply and come with their own pop-up tent, INCLUDING sufficient weights, as this event is on pavement. A TENT AND SUFFICIENT WEIGHTS ARE A REQUIREMENT OF THE EVENT.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

    If you do not have appropriate equipment you will be asked to leave with no refund.

    The determination of "Sufficient weights" will be at the discretion of event management and will take into account safety factors such as wind and weather conditions, among others.

    2. We do not provide any carts or assistance with load-in.

    3. Cars are NOT allowed to drive onto the event site. This is in order to keep all staff, vendors and attendees safe. We kindly ask that you adhere to this rule in the best interest of everyone's safety on site.

    You will be unloading close to the road and then carrying your items to your space. Please keep this in mind. We believe a cart makes a world of difference!

    4. Vendors must come fully self-sustaining, including all tables, tents, chairs, weights, and any other necessary items.

    5. No multi-level marketing or national chain businesses, please.

    Vendors who do not follow these requirements will not be invited to future Step Out Buffalo events.

    Weather Clause - Important! 
    In the event of inclement weather, including but not limited to rain, high winds, or severe storms, event organizers reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel outdoor operations for the safety of vendors, attendees, and staff. Vendors are responsible for securing their tents, displays, and merchandise with appropriate weights and anchoring systems to withstand wind conditions.

    Should weather-related changes occur, we will communicate updates directly via face-to-face contact and email. We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation as we prioritize safety. No refunds or credits will be issued due to weather-related disruptions/delays/cancellations unless explicitly stated in the vendor agreement. The final decision regarding weather-related changes will be made at the discretion of the event organizers.

  • Vendor Agreement

  • The 2026 Buffalo Artisans & Flea agreement is made and entered into as of the date listed on the last page of this agreement by Step Out Buffalo and between: 

  • (hereinafter known as "VENDOR") and Step Out Buffalo (hereafter known as "SOB") for operation of a booth during the 2025 Buffalo Artisan Flea to be held at 95 Washington St Lot, Buffalo, NY 14203 on Friday, June 26, 2026 - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Saturday, June 27, 2026 -  10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sunday, June 28, 2026, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

    Both parties agree as follows:

    A.) Vendor Responsibilities

    • The VENDOR is required to supply tables, linens, and chairs for their booth. This is an outdoor event so a 10x10 tent and sufficient weights are required. 
    • The VENDOR is responsible for staying at booth space and selling/sampling for the entire duration of the event on both days. Absolutely no breaking down booth before event ends for the day. Violators will not be invited to participate in future events.
    • The VENDOR shall not sell or donate space in its booth for advertising of any third party without prior written consent of SOB.
    • The VENDOR is responsible for paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
    • In the case of a cancellation, the VENDOR can receive a full refund for their vendor payment up until May 29th, 2026. If the VENDOR cancels participation after May 29th, they will not be issued a refund.
    • VENDOR is responsible for any internet or power needs.
    • The VENDOR must notify SOB & Twenty6 of any needs for additional space,  or anything not already provided. 

    B.) Responsibilities of SOB

    • Upon receipt of an executed copy of this agreement, a $10 application fee and a $470 vendor fee for 3 days vendor space, SOB shall provide as agreed upon to the VENDOR for the event: A ''10X10ft'' space at the event for both days, & advertisement of your business in relation to the event on marketing materials including the Step Out Buffalo website and social media sites.
    • SOB has the right to review and deny any applicant.

    C.) Responsibilities of Both Parties - General Information

    • SOB are not responsible for any lost or stolen items left overnight by the VENDOR. It is up to the discretion of the VENDOR to pack up their items in between sessions or not. Overnight Security will be provided. 
    • VENDOR sales locations are at the discretion of SOB. Vendors may begin setup of their booths when instructed by SOB. A detailed packet outlining set up times, spot number, loading locations, and parking will be sent prior to the event.
    • SOB shall have the right to terminate this agreement at any time shall the VENDOR fail to meet established standards and conditions set forth in this agreement and/or conduct sales activities not in good faith.
    • SOB and VENDORS shall remain independent contractors, and nothing contained herein or done pursuant hereto shall be construed to create any relationship of principal and agent or employer and employee between the VENDOR and SOB.

    If you are serving or sampling food it is suggested you contact Erie County Department of Health for applicable permits.
