• Abstract Adventure

    April 6-27, 2026 3:30-5:30 PM for ages 7-14. Students will move through a fun-filled world of shapes and color. They will explore how to create art based on feeling and ideas without having to create a realistic form. We will work with basic geometric shapes, line color and space.

    • About the instructor: Marisa Companion is an artist and educator who earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (2011). She taught high school and k-8 art in New Hampshire and California for the last 15 years. Art education is an important part of her practice, and art community outreach has helped inform the art she creates. Marisa’s work has been featured at Danforth Museum of Art, Framingham, MA, and Art Basel, Miami.
