• The ICON360 x Pensole HBCU Professor Summit returns for its fourth year, bringing together HBCU fashion educators and industry leaders for a solutions-focused convening dedicated to advancing HBCU fashion education and expanding pathways into the fashion industry.

Taking place June 15–16 in Detroit, the retreat will be hosted at Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design—the only HBCU in Michigan and the nation’s only HBCU dedicated to design. Through dialogue, workshops, and industry engagement, professors and brand partners will collaborate on strategies to strengthen HBCU fashion programs and create more equitable opportunities for students pursuing careers in fashion.

By tackling systemic barriers and fostering meaningful partnerships between academia and industry, the retreat continues to empower the next generation of fashion talent emerging from HBCUs.
