Permission to Participate*
As the parent/guardian, I hereby give permission for this student to participate in the programs and activities of The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus including rehearsals, performances, tours, retreats, and fundraising activities. I hereby release The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus from any and all claims, damages, or other liabilities which may be asserted as a result of the students participation in the activity, or any injury, loss, damage, or incident occurring during such participation.
Health/Emergency Consent*
I agree that The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus may obtain medical attention, advice, evaluation, or treatment for my child in an emergency while participating in events. In case of emergency, I understand that reasonable efforts will be made to contact me. In the event of an emergency, I agree to pay for any medical services that might be needed beyond that provided by my insurance. I hereby give my permission for the administration of over-the-counter medications by a staff member. I agree and understand that The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus has sole discretion to determine when such an emergency has occurred.
Parent/Guardian Obligations*
As a parent/guardian, I realize my obligation to The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus and my student. I will keep current with my financial and service obligations. I will make sure that my student's schedule is followed and that he/she is a contributing member of the organization. I further understand that excessive absences and tardies, inappropriate behavior, and unfulfilled obligations both musical and financial will be cause for dismissal. I will pay for damage to music or property, if any that occurs is a result of my student's behavior. As a parent of a student in this ensemble, I agree to have my student(s) at the dress rehearsals and performances.
Supervision & Liability Waiver for Non-Participating Children*
For the safety and focus of all students, siblings and other children who are not registered participants in The Santa Fe Symphony's Youth Programs are not permitted to attend rehearsals or classes unless directly supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.The Santa Fe Symphony and its staff are not responsible for the supervision, care, or safety of non-participating children. By registering your child in our program, you acknowledge and agree that The Santa Fe Symphony is released from all liability related to the presence of any non-participating children at rehearsals, classes, or program-related events.
Image and Video Release*
As part of our outreach and funding reports we may take photographs and videos of our children in action as they participate in classes, rehearsals, fundraisers, and concerts. We also post images and video on our website and social media. Please indicate if you give your consent for us to use your child's image for these purposes.

Afterschool Ensembles – Financial Policies

These Financial Policies apply to all Santa Fe Symphony Afterschool Ensembles. By enrolling a student in an Afterschool Ensemble, families agree to the policies outlined below.

Summer Music Classes*

Violin Explorers

Come learn to play the violin for the first time in a one-week exploration of making music - best for rising 1st-4th graders. Classes held on June 8-11 from 4-5:30 PM, and a final performance on June 9 at 4 PM. Cost of the class includes a two-week rental of your violin, and rentals can be extended beyond the class for a additional fee. Only 8 spots available!

Violin Adventurers

Come on a violin adventure and learn Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star while honing your skills! Best for rising 1st-4th graders who have already completed at least one semester of Elementary Violin or have at least one semester of violin experience and are ready to play with left-hand fingers. Classes held on June 16, 18, 23, and 25 from 4:30-5:30 PM. with a final performance on June 25 at 5:00 PM. Only 8 spots available!

Cello Explorers

Come learn to play the cello for the first time and enjoy making music! Best for rising 2nd - 5th graders. Classes held on June 22, 24, 29 and July 1st from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. Cost of the class includes a two week rental of your cello, and rentals can be extended beyond the class for an additional fee. Only 8 spots available!

Strings Adventurer

Continue your strings adventure on violin, viola, or cello! For rising 4th - 8th graders. Students must have completed Perpetual Motion from Suzuki Book 1 or equivalent. Classes held June 22, 24, 29, and July 1st from 5:30-6:30 PM. Only 8 spots available!

Vocal Voyagers

Come join the Vocal Voyagers for a week of singing this summer! For rising 1st - 4th graders. Classes held from 4:00 - 5:30 PM on July 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31st with a mini-performance at 5 PM on the 31st. Only 14 spots available!
