Liability Waiver and Release of Claims By participating in the 30th ALL TOYOTAFEST (“Event”), hosted by the Toyota Owner’s and Restorer’s Club ("TORC"), ALL TOYOTAFEST as dba Joy International LLC, hosted by the venue City of Long Beach in California U.S.A. ("City of Long Beach"), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Health & Safety Notice
The Event organizers and sponsors recommend taking necessary precautions if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Those without symptoms should consider testing within five (5) days of exposure. If contact with high-risk individuals is anticipated, indoor masking for ten (10) days post-exposure is advised.
Photography & Video Release Consent
By attending the Event, I consent to the capture and use of my likeness, including photographs and videos taken during the Event, for promotional and marketing purposes by the organizers. These materials may be used across various media platforms, including websites, social media, print materials, and advertisements. I waive any rights or claims to compensation for the use of such materials. If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I will inform Event staff. My participation constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Liability Waiver & Release
I acknowledge that I gain personal satisfaction and benefits from my participation and/or volunteerism with TORC events. I voluntarily engage in the Event and all related activities (“Activity”).
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF ANY KIND AGAINST Toyota Owner’s and Restorer’s Club (TORC), ALL TOYOTAFEST, JOY INTERNATIONAL LLC, AND ALL AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”).
This waiver extends to all contracted vendors, third parties contracted through original vendors, and individuals or staff assisting vendors. In consideration of the right to participate in the 29th Annual ALL TOYOTAFEST, I, by submitting my registration, release and discharge Joy International LLC, its officials, members, staff, the City of Long Beach, its officials, members, and any other persons associated with the Event from any and all damages, injuries, judgments, or claims that may arise.
Furthermore, I expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless all aforementioned entities and individuals from any liability resulting from my conduct or the actions of those cooperating with or under my direct control.
I agree to abide by all Event rules and management decisions, including the prohibition of alcoholic beverages on Event grounds. Any photographs or videos of contracted vendors or individual vehicles used in media publications by TORC are permitted. I understand that my information may be shared with sponsors and vendors for media purposes with my permission. Submission of this form does not guarantee my entry until my registration has been reviewed and approved. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age.
Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that: Participation includes possible exposure to infectious diseases, including COVID-19. While safety measures may reduce risk, the risk of serious illness or death exists.
I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties.
I accept full responsibility for any injury, harm, or loss associated with my participation in the Event.
Medical Acknowledgment & Release
I understand the potential health risks associated with participation, including but not limited to dizziness, nausea, muscle cramps, joint pain, heart attack, stroke, or sudden death. If I experience any symptoms, I will immediately discontinue participation and seek medical attention.
I HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY FIRST AID, TREATMENT, OR MEDICAL SERVICE RENDERED IN CONNECTION WITH MY PARTICIPATION.
As a participant, volunteer, or attendee, I acknowledge that my involvement in any TORC event is voluntary and may result in injury (including death) or property damage. By attending, observing, or participating in the Activity, I assume all risks and agree that:
The City of Long Beach
The property or site owner of the Activity
All affiliated individuals, employees, volunteers, vendors, partners, directors, and officers
will not be responsible for any injury, illness, property damage, or loss I may suffer, even if caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.
BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING, I AGREE TO A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Affiliation Disclaimer:
I acknowledge and understand that TORC and ALL TOYOTAFEST are independent entities and are not affiliated with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. ("Toyota USA") or Cabe Toyota of Long Beach, Inc. ("Cabe Toyota").
Any possible photograph or video exposure of contracted vendors or participating individual vehicles in media publications permitted by TORC is allowed. I understand that my information may be shared with sponsors and vendors for media purposes with permission.
I also understand that the submission of this form does not guarantee my entry until the entry is reviewed and approved. I acknowledge that I am at least 18 years of age.
