REMINDER - (Effective Oct 30, 2025) The NSPL shall mandate that for all Provincial Championships, a total of 90% of the current CanPL Regionals Qualifying Standard must have been achieved in a sanctioned IPF approved competition; in line with CanPL Regional standards, the total must be within 24 months prior to the date of the intended championships

Registration/QT Deadline - April 18, 2026 (6 weeks out) - registrations are final (no refunds), 0 late registrations, if the qualifying total has not been hit your registration (including fee) is forfeit

 

This is a CANPL sanctioned event. 

You must hold a valid CANPL membership before registering for a CANPL sanctioned competition. You may purchase a membership here: https://www.canadianpowerliftingunion.com/membership

Registration with the CPU requires accepting the drug testing policy in full during their membership. Competitors must remain in attendance for the duration of their session to comply with possible testing selection even if they cannot complete their lifts.

This competition is subject to drug testing. Please complete your CCES learning module and keep the certificate with you.

*Youth and Special Olympics athletes are exempt from this requirement.

Ensure ALL of your equipment is IPF approved, as per the approved list and technical rules. Unapproved equipment will not be allowed for use.

All entries are non-refundable & non-transferable after the entry deadline - April 18th, 2026. This includes for reasoning such as (but not limited to): COVID, injuries, conflict in scheduling, etc.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I hereby for myself, heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against: the International Powerlifting Federation, the Canadian Powerlifting Union, the NSPL Powerlifting Association and Executive, and Fitness FX, the meet/contest site, sponsor and it's employees, all organizers, volunteers and sponsors of this contest, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands which may arise in consequence of my participation in this contest. I realize that Powerlifting is a high risk sport and that I could be injured. 

I certify that I am in good physical health and that I have no serious health problems and that I assume full responsibility for such conditions. I accept that I am fully responsible for my well being and safety in the warm up room, on the lifting platform and while I am competing at this event. I am also aware that I am responsible for the actions of any coach and entourage that attend this contest in my support. 

I agree that I will follow all restrictions and procedures laid out by the meet directors. 
I agree that if I am feeling ill, I will not appear at the venue to compete.
I understand that these restrictions may change up until the day of the competition.
