6:00pm - 9:00pm
Caloosa Sound Convention Center, Fort Myers
We invite you to be part of an evening grounded in a simple but powerful truth: every one of us can be a Friend to a young person in foster care. The evening will bring into focus the realities facing children and youth in our region who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment, and the difference it makes when someone chooses to stand alongside them.
Ashley Rhodes-Courter, New York Times and International bestselling author of Three Little Words and Three More Words, will share reflections drawn from her journey through Florida’s foster care system and her work as an advocate and foster parent.
Following her remarks, guests will move into curated conversations among Friends — bringing together foster parents, case managers, volunteer advocates, community leaders, dedicated supporters, and those ready to deepen their commitment to young people in foster care.
The evening has been intentionally designed without additional fundraising activities, creating space for impactful connection and conversation.
