Folksy Summer 2026
  • Folksy Summer 2026

Imagine a beautiful summer under the sun. A Folksy summer is special-- we nurture the whole child, their vibrant spirit and exploratory nature. In the mornings they're greeted with singing, games, and friends. Open exploration and learning through play are our priority. Children will explore each weeks themes through exciting activities and crafts. Summer is all about the wild, the excitement, and the joy! Your child comes home with stories and songs from the day, giggles about what they did with their new found friends, and memories of the adventures they built. Children will engage with a theme of the week- from the arts, theatre, potions, nature phenomenon, gardening, plant explorations... time will be spent enjoying the best the summer has to offer- in our natural world learning from the animals, trees, wildflowers, and more.

This week, the four mathematical processes come to life through storytelling and our playful Math Gnomes. Each gnome has a personality and a purpose, helping campers experience addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a way that feels imaginative, memorable, and surprisingly exciting.

We’ll move our bodies lots, play active math games, solve hands-on challenges, and dive into form drawing and creative art projects that reveal patterns, symmetry, structure, and rhythm. Math will jump, stretch, spin, and come alive!

It’s a joyful way to reinforce core skills through movement and head into the school year feeling confident and capable.
