ARTIST AGREEMENT
The ARTIST appoints IA as non-exclusive agent for the exhibition and sales of artworks selected to be shown at RESIN (618 Cypress AVE, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 or 601 Cypress AVE, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254) and other IA locations (as agreed to by the ARTIST). This AGREEMENT releases IA from all financial liability relating to damages that may occur to installed art pieces.
By signing this agreement, I, THE ARTIST, agree to hold IA entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for damages incurred. I also acknowledge the risks involved in creating a public art installation. These include but are not limited to theft, damages, vandalism, or destruction. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that I understand all risks affiliated by creating this public art display.
I shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IA and its directors, officers, employees, agents, stockholders, affiliates, subcontractors, and customers from and against all allegations, claims, actions, suits, demands, damages, liabilities, obligations, losses, settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including without limitation attorneys’ fees and costs) which arise out of, relate to, or result from any act of omission of and/or by the ARTIST.
To help support the nonprofit, a 20% commission will be taken on sales by non-SBAC members. SBAC members keep 100% of artwork sales, with optional donations appreciated but not required.
