Join us for a 3-hour, beginner-friendly sewing workshop where you’ll create a fully lined, functional canvas tote bag from start to finish. Some materials will be pre-cut, and you’ll also practice cutting and measuring your own pieces to build foundational skills. We’ll cover pinning, sewing straight stitches, basic construction, and assembling a lined interior. This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to grow their confidence on the sewing machine and move on to a larger project. You’ll leave with a beautiful handmade tote and practical skills you can use for future projects. Workshop is hosted by Vibras Bonitas at The Stitch House.

Assumption of Risk & Permission to Participate

I understand that sewing includes the use of machines, needles, scissors, irons, and other tools. These activities include risks that can cause or lead to injury.

I grant permission to operate sewing machines and to use tools and equipment provided by The Stitch House 915, Cushi Cushi 915 and Vibras Bonitas. I give permission for first aid and/or emergency medical treatment to be given if the need arises.

The participant agrees to comply with the studio’s rules. The studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, anyone who disrupts a program or fails to respect the rules and practices within the studio.

Photographic Release

I grant The Stitch House 915, Vibras Bonitas, and Cushi Cushi 915, their representatives and employees, the right to take photographs and/or video of me and/or my child in connection with sewing classes, workshops, camps, or events.

I agree that these images may be used for any lawful purpose, including publicity, illustration, advertising, social media, and website content. I have read and understood the above.
