Spring Formal Dress Code Guidelines
Theme: Denim and Diamonds
We are excited for a fun night of dancing, games, and community! Our desire is for every student to feel confident, comfortable, and free to enjoy the evening — while honoring the Lord and representing GCA with excellence.
GUYS
This is a Denim and Diamonds theme — embrace it! Think denim with a polished, dress-up touch.
· Jeans
· Cowboy boots or dressy, comfortable shoes
· Button-up shirt
· Optional: Blazer, vest, bolo tie, or necktie
· Traditional Suit
LADIES
Have fun dressing up your denim with a little sparkle! Whether you choose jeans, a skirt, or a dress, make sure your outfit reflects modesty, confidence, and a touch of elegance.
· Jeans, skirts, shorts, or dresses
· Dressy boots, heels, flats, or comfortable dress shoes
· Modest tops and dresses (see guidelines below)
· Optional: Sparkle accents or statement accessories
Modesty & Fit Guidelines
Length Requirements:
Dresses, skirts, and shorts must be no shorter than the short side of a 3x5 index card above the top of the knee.
Straps & Coverage
· Undergarment straps may not be visible on bare skin.
· Necklines must remain above cleavage.
· No cutouts.
· No exposed sides of the body or midriff.
Two-Piece Dresses:
Two-piece dresses are permitted only if the top overlaps the skirt by at least 6 inches. If the top and skirt simply meet at the waist, the outfit does not meet dress code and must be sewn together.
Back of Dress
The back of the dress may be no lower than the natural waistline.
