I also understand that I will be added to the camp electronic communication, of which I can opt-out at my own discretion at anytime. I hereby release all those involved in leading, organizing, and/or hosting this event from responsibility and liability for any illness or injury that I may sustain during any activity, and any and all claims and liabilities. In the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize an adult leader of the activity, as agent for me, to consent to any Xray examination, medical, dental, or surgical diagnosis, anesthesia, treatment, and hospital care advised and by a licensed physician, surgeon, or dentist (as appropriate) licensed to practice under the laws of the state where the services are to be rendered, either at the physician's office or in a hospital. Adventure Preference

Throughout the weekend we will have free time to adventure on your own and explore the area around New River Gorge. More details will be provided at the camp. For those that are interested, we will offer an opportunity to shoot firearms. The cost is $40. Please choose that additional option if you know you would like to do that. However, you also have the opportunity to join a 1/2 day whitewater rafting adventure on the New River. This part of the retreat is optional, costs an additional $125, and must be registered for separately (details will be provided after registering for the retreat). Additionally, for those interested, there is an opportunity to shoot firearms; however, this is an additional $40. There is no pressure to participate in either of these; there is certainly plenty of adventure (hiking, swimming, etc...) in the surrounding area that don't involve rafting or shooting.
