SALA Phase Forward

Thanks to our members and supporters, SALA Los Alamos Event Center is open and serving the community with movies, birthdays, festivals, cultural events, and gatherings. 

But maintaining and improving a 23 year old building while continuing to grow is not easy. Operating costs like rent, utilities, insurance, and staffing continue while we also upgrade the facility.

To help move this vision forward, we are launching the SALA Phase Forward 

These funds will support key improvements that strengthen SALA and allow us to continue expanding programming, events, and cultural experiences in Los Alamos.

• Bar & Concessions Expansion — $2,500
  Improve concessions and support expanded hospitality offerings.

• Marquee & Display System — $3,000
  Upgrade displays and signage to better promote movies and events.

• Miscellaneous Fixes & Contingency — $6,000
  Cover unexpected repairs, small improvements, and project needs.

• Heating & HVAC Improvements — $11,500
  Improve comfort and airflow throughout the building year-round

• Bathroom Renovation & Plumbing — $12,000
  Upgrade restrooms and plumbing for a better guest experience.

• Phase Two Theater Stages — $15,000
  Build new stages to support live events, talks, and performances.
