  • These camps are designed for children entering 2nd-6th grades.

    This is a long form, so we suggest completing it using a computer.

    One application must be submitted for each child.

    Course enrollment occurs at the end of this form and, should you wish to enroll another child, you can select the link and information will be prefilled on the new form.

    PAYMENT: Full payment is required with each application. 

    REFUNDS: You can cancel by May 11th, 2026, and receive a full refund minus a $75 processing fee. Cancellations must be requested in writing and sent to office@daviswaldorf.org.

    Aftercare is only for children enrolled in camps. You cannot enroll in an aftercare session without the associated camp.

    Parent(s)/Guardian(s) agree to release and hold harmless, the Davis Waldorf School ("School"), its employees, directors and agents, from all claims, damages or other liabilities for injuries to their child(ren), which are not the result of gross negligence by the School or its agents or employees, when participating in on- or off-campus school sponsored activities. The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) also agree to accept financial responsibility to reimburse the School for any damage or loss to the School, its property, or any “Third party” property damage their child caused, for which the School was required to correct, repair or replace. The School is not responsible for damage to or theft of personal property.

    Parent(s)/Guardian(s) give permission for their child to participate in off-campus walks under teacher or school employee supervision. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) acknowledge that off-campus walks may include passing by, or stopping at, bodies of water in the surrounding neighborhoods.  

    In the event of an accident or other emergency, when the Parent(s)/Guardian(s) is( are) unavailable, the School may authorize a representative to make any arrangements considered necessary for the student to receive medical or hospital care, including necessary  transportation. Under such circumstances, the Parent(s)/Guardian(s)  further authorize any licensed physician or surgeon to undertake any care and  treatment of the student considered necessary. The Parent(s)/Guardian(s)  hereby agree to pay all costs incurred as a result of the foregoing. 

    BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.

                                        Week 1: Acrylic Painting in Spanish with Maestra Marta (6/15-19)

                                        This popular camp was uniquely created by Davis Waldorf School's Spanish teacher of over 20 years, Maestra Marta Juliao. Maestra Marta is not only a Spanish teacher, but also a talented fine arts painter. Campers practice conversational Spanish as they learn in a step-by-step format how to mix colors, use different brush strokes to achieve different effects, and work from the background to the foreground. At the end of the week, students get to take home a lovely landscape painting.

                                        Week 2: Outdoor Games with Jess Dudek (6/22-26)

                                        Come have fun with us as we explore joyful movement through cross-body exercises, hand-eye coordination games, and playful team-building activities. Through rhythm, cooperation, and mindful challenge, students strengthen both body and focus. Our time together encourages confidence, connection, and the joy of moving as a group.

                                        Week 3: Fun with Weaving with Dahlia Haberman (6/29-7/2) *Camp closed 7/3

                                        Enjoy the endless possibilities of weaving with fibers, thread or fabric. Guided by our Handwork teacher of over 20 years, get ready to loop, pull, and create amazing colorful tapestries. Learn cool weaving tricks to make wall hangings, bracelets, and more. It's fun, relaxing, and builds super fine-motor skills! Perfect for all ages!

                                        Week 4: Papermaking and Printing with Shai Porath (7/6-10)

                                        Be part of a learning journey into the ancient process of transforming plants such as bamboo, palm, cotton, kozo, hemp and flax into handmade paper. Campers will bind paper into a book and learn a variety of printing techniques using vibrant oil and water-based inks.

                                        Week 5: Making Our Own Games with Shai Porath (7/13-17)

                                        Beat the summer heat by making your very own handmade game! This camp will create a variety of unique games that you can play inside or outside. Campers will make their own board games, build a 3-D memory puzzle with painted and sculpted pieces created in camp, and a large marble obstacle course using clay, wire, and cardboard that will feature bridges, tubes, pits, and gates.

                                        Week 6: Weaving with Reeds with Shai Porath (7/20-7/24)

                                        Journey into weaving with reeds. Campers will learn how to weave with natural materials such as pine needles, reeds, and rattan. Using methods inspired by indigenous communities across the United States, campers will create beautiful and functional baskets, plates, and coasters that they can take home.

                                        Week 8: Story Dollmaking with Dahlia Haberman (8/3-7)

                                        Make a friend, and the stories will follow. As campers sew their dolls, they will also create each doll's history, character, and abilities. At the end of camp, campers will share their doll's stories and perhaps even create a larger story together with friends' dolls. Surprises and magic will surely follow.
