I authorize Miss Spokane Organization, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. - State TEEN Competition: TBA* (Traditionally the last week of June or first week of July in Olympia, WA):
The Winner of Miss Spokane 2027 Only:
- State MISS Forum: TBA* (Traditionally the first weekend in May in Olympia, WA)
- State MISS Competition: TBA* (Traditionally the first or second week of July in Olympia, WA)
*The Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization does not control these dates/locations, nor when they are selected/announced. As soon as the Miss Washington Scholarship Organization announces these dates, they will be updated.
FEES & ASSOCIATED COSTS
I understand the following associated fees, costs, and fundraising requirements:
- Contestants are to provide all of their own wardrobe for the competition (interview, opening, fitness, talent, and evening wear).
- $49.99 (per year) Registration fee on the Miss America Organization website (HERE). This is a requirement from the Miss America Organization. If a contestant has already competed in a 2027 local competition, she does not need to pay this fee again. Please do not register and pay this fee until we have confirmed your eligibility to compete.
- $150 registration fee. Registration fee is due at the time of submitting this entry form. Fees are non-refundable.
- Rebel Athletic Top and Bottom (HERE). The Miss America Organization requires all local contestants to wear a Rebel Athletic fitness outfit for the fitness competition. Not all options shown on the website link above are availble to wear for the Miss Spokane and Miss Spokane's Teen Competition. See the Contestant Handbook for a list of the available options. It is the contestant's responsibility to order her fitness outfit, making sure that it arrives on time and fits properly prior to the competition. Contestants are more than welcome to borrow or purchase used items from previous contestants/titleholders.
- Raise $30 for the American Heart Association Fundrasier. All contestants are required to raise funds for the American Heart Association. This is a requirement from the Miss America Organization.
- $400 Minimum in program magazine advertisement sales. Contestants are encouraged to approach local businesses and sell advertisement space in our program magazine. The more program magazines sold, the more scholarship we are able to award. There are incentives for the contestants that sell the most advertisements. Program magazine advertisment prices are $150 for half page or $200 for full page. More information can be found in the contestant handbook and advertisement order form.
