Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards Designer Application
Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards is a celebration of creative excellence, cultural influence, and the future of fashion. Each year, the platform highlights visionary designers whose work reflects innovation, craftsmanship, and the power of culture to shape the global fashion landscape.

Three designers will be selected by Harlem’s Fashion Row to showcase their Spring/Summer 2027 collections on the runway during New York Fashion Week in September 2026.
What Selected Designers Receive

Designers selected for the Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards Designer Showcase will receive:
- A fully produced runway show during New York Fashion Week, including venue, runway production, hair, makeup, and backstage coordination
- Grant funding to support the production of their Spring/Summer 2027 collection
- Exposure through a highly visible platform that garners billions of press impressions and attracts influential leaders across fashion, media, entertainment, and culture
- Access to industry resources and support designed to help elevate their vision and expand their business
When leveraged strategically, participation on this platform has the potential to be a defining moment in a designer’s career.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards Designer Showcase, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be based in the United States.
- Be the founder or lead designer of the brand being submitted.
- Submit an original collection designed by the applicant.
- Provide at least one professional reference who can speak to the designer's work, experience, and professionalism as a designer.
Key Dates
- Week of July 1: Half Collection Due
- Week of August 3: Full Collection Due
- Week of August 17: Models and Lookbook Confirmed
- August 21: In-Person Collection Reviews in New York City
- September 8: Harlem’s Fashion Row 19th Fashion Show & Style Awards
Designers are selected first and foremost based on creativity, originality, craftsmanship, and cultural impact. The additional business questions included in this application help us better understand where you are in your journey and how Harlem’s Fashion Row can best support your growth as a designer and entrepreneur.
