Reserve a whole or half pasture-raised hog from Roswell Family Farm—yes, that Roswell 🛸—in proud partnership with Spofford Farm, where pasture, purpose, and pork come together.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

You will be responsible for three separate payments:

NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION PAYMENT
• Half hog — $105
• Whole hog — $156

Each payment includes a non-refundable reservation and administrative fee. Of the amount paid, $100 for a half hog or $150 for a whole hog will be applied to your final hanging-weight balance.

Once payment is successfully completed, your order is automatically reserved. If hogs are unavailable for the next scheduled processing date, your reservation will be placed on our waitlist in the order in which reservation payments are received.

Your payment guarantees your place in our order queue. It does not guarantee immediate availability, a specific hog, processor, processing method, or processing date.

Reservation payments are non-refundable if you cancel or decide not to wait for availability. If Roswell Family Farm determines that we cannot fulfill your order, payments made directly to Roswell Family Farm for that reservation will be refunded.

HANGING-WEIGHT BALANCE

Roswell Family Farm may provide an estimated total before processing for planning purposes. Your exact farm balance will be calculated after the processor reports the official hanging weight and must be paid in full before your finished pork is released for pickup.

The remaining balance for the hog will be paid directly to Roswell Family Farm.

Your final farm price will be calculated using the hog’s actual hanging weight:

• Whole hog — $4.00/lb hanging weight
• Half hog — $4.50/lb hanging weight

The credited portion of your reservation payment will be deducted from your final balance.

Hanging weight is the hog’s weight after slaughter and initial preparation but before cutting, trimming, and packaging. Your final amount of packaged pork will weigh less than the hanging weight.

Actual weights, finished meat amounts, and final totals will vary. Roswell Family Farm cannot guarantee an exact hanging weight or amount of take-home meat.

BUTCHER AND PROCESSING FEES
Butcher and processing fees are separate from the hanging-weight price and must be paid directly to the processor.

Processing costs vary depending on the processor and your selections. Additional charges may apply for smoking, curing, bacon, ham, sausage, patties, vacuum sealing, boneless cuts, and other specialty requests.

Roswell Family Farm does not control the processor’s prices, scheduling, cutting, packaging, labeling, or services.

PREPAYMENT PLANS

A prepayment plan for the balance owed to Roswell Family Farm may be available upon request. Please contact us directly to discuss your options.

Unless specifically agreed to in writing, prepayment plans do not include butcher or processing fees owed directly to the processor.

All availability and processing dates are estimates and may change due to animal readiness, processor scheduling, weather, transportation, or other circumstances outside our control.

CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

By entering your email address, completing payment, and submitting this form, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all pricing, payment responsibilities, waitlist policies, and terms stated on this order page.

You understand that your reservation payment is non-refundable, your order may be placed on a waitlist, processing dates are not guaranteed, pricing is based on actual hanging weight, take-home weight will be lower than hanging weight, and butcher fees are separate and paid directly to the processor.
