The Tower Show registration form

One of favorite annual events is back! Fill out this form to participate!

Here's what you need to know: 

• We want your interpretation of the Tower! The only rule is that your finished piece has to fit into an 11x17" frame.
• Participation/Tower templates are $25/each. This helps us cover the cost of printing, framing, and installing them! If this is a barrier, please email emily@artsgowanus.org for a registration waiver. 
• All Tower pieces are sold for $200. We don't take a commission on sales (although we always appreciate donations if your work sells!)

The Tower Show will be on view from April 23rd through May 17th and on view Saturdays & Sundays, 12-6pm at 240 3rd Ave in the large commercial space on the corner of Union and 3rd Ave.

The opening will be on April 23rd from 7-9 PM

PICK UP/DROP OFF info:

 Pick up intructions:

In order to be in this exhibition, you MUST complete this form BEFORE you pick up the tower template. If you haven't filled out this form or contacted Emily, even if you pick up a template, your work will not be included in the show. 

 

• Pick-ups can be made at the front desk of Union Channel at 240 3rd avenue in Gowanus. There is an someone there 24 hours a day.
• The building is being very nice in letting us do the template pick-up there, but we ask everyone to be as considerate as possible when picking up so we do not disrupt the tenants or staff of the building. The front desk staff will not have any information about the show and won't be able to answer any questions about it. 
• You can pick up a template any time before 4/1, or until we run out of templates.

Drop off instructions:

Completed pieces MUST be dropped off to Union Channel (240 3rd Ave) on Monday, April 20th, or Tuesday, April 21st, from 3-8 PM for inclusion in the exhibition. 

You will not be dropping off at the front desk, please do not bring finished work to the front desk. You will be dropping off in the exhibition space (don't worry, we will have a sign out front)

Sorry- absolutley no early/late drop offs. This is a huge show and we can't accomadate requests.

 

VERY IMPORTANT RULES:

Pick-up for any unsold work will be 3-8pm on Monday May 18th & Tuesday May 19th at the exhibition space.  IF YOU CANNOT PICK UP YOUR PIECE OR SEND SOMEONE TO PICK UP YOUR PIECE DURING THOSE TIMES, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION TO ARTS GOWANUS. We unfortunately cannot hold or store any unsold work after May 19th. We love you all, but due to our very intense programming schedule and tiny staff we cannot make any exceptions, no matter the circumstance.

Arts Gowanus reserves the right to photograph art for the purposes of documentation, publication, education, or publicity. 

Arts Gowanus will make every effort to ensure that all art is sold or returned in its original condition. Arts Gowanus carries standard liability insurance that may not cover damage to artworks.
