As an Owego Merchant you are entitled to the first choice of the street space in front of your store. Spaces are 10’ x 15’, with a maximum of two street spaces per merchant.
As always each merchant has the use of their sidewalk space at no charge, whether you have a street space or not.
Subletting your space is prohibited, unless it is for a non-for-profit organization.
Free food booths are strictly prohibited. Any booth that sells food is subject to the rules of the Tioga County Health Department and must have a valid permit.
The local Fire Marshall requires that all food vendors have one 2A/20 B-C fire extinguisher with current inspection tag and/or 6L Class K extinguisher per booth.
Merchants are allowed to purchase the space in front of their store with the intention to leave the space empty. We ask that you consider setting up some tables and chairs, or store signage to prevent the space from looking unoccupied.
