Swim Family Agreement: Fee Schedule & Fundraiser

Swim registration fees and fundraiser buys-out fees are due at the time of registration.
Swim season Dual Meets are at no extra cost to the swimmer.
Invitational Meets (including The HST Relay Carnival, The MST Mini Meet, The DC Novice Meet, and the WWD Invitational) will include a price per event. This money is due to the Treasurer, Sara Hughes, before or on the day of the meet. Payment must be in an envelope with your swimmer(s) name and the event written on the front of the envelope. Divisionals, Allstars, and MidCap's will include a price per event. Payment is due to the Treasurer, Sara Hughes, on the day of the meet. Our Pre-season fundraiser will be R&K Sub Sale. More information will come from our Treasurer, Sara Hughes. Note below if you will be participating in the fundraiser or taking the buy-out. If taking the buyout, please add it to the cost to your registration fee at the end of this form. *** Please note, if you do not raise at least $55 in your sub sales, you will still be responsible for the remainder of the buy-out fee.

Swim Family Agreement: Meet & Event Volunteer Policy

Please check the box below each line to show your understanding.
All swim families in attendance are expected to (and are needed to) volunteer at each meet.
Some volunteer positions like Official and Starter are positions that require training. There will be multiple training opportunities prior to the start of the season. Becoming a trained Official is a great way to learn what makes a 'legal' stroke, start, and turn for your swimmer. It is a great opportunity for any swim parent. Please reach out to Sara Hughes ASAP at middletownswimteam@gmail.com if you have interest in becoming an Official.
Due to the small size of our team, it is possible that more than one family member will be needed to volunteer. Or a family member may need to volunteer for both halves. We apologize in advance. Please note: a swim meet cannot proceed until all volunteer positions have been filled.
A volunteer Sign-Up Genius will be sent out to families along with the Meet RSVP Sign-Up Genius for each event. Please sign-up for the volunteer position that you would like. If a family member is not signed up on the morning of the event, they will be assigned to a remaining volunteer position.

Swim Family Agreement: Middletown Mini-Meet Invitational

Please check the box below each line to show your understanding of our Mini-Meet expectations. Mini-Meet date will be sent out as soon as it is approved by the league.
Volunteering for this meet is mandatory. Volunteer positions begin as early as 2pm the day of the event. There are many volunteer opportunities that take place before the day of the meet as well.
Please note that swimmers over the age of 10 can volunteer to help out with the meet as well. This is a great way to give back to their club.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is important in funding our team. All families are expected to volunteer in some capacity. Please reach out to Volunteer Coordinator, Cassie Berry at middletownswimteam@gmail.com with any questions.

Swim Family Agreement: Middletown Swim Club Partnership

During morning practices (when the pool is not open) non-swimmers must stay under the overhang at Concessions. Only swimmers, coaches, and Board members may be around and in the pool. All play equipment (including volleyball and basketball courts) are off limits. This is due to pool liability insurance law. All in attendance are welcome to use the bathroom facilities.
During evening practices (when the pool is open) non-member families must stay under the overhang at Concessions. Non-member family members may not use the pool, slides, diving board, or play equipment (including the volleyball and basketball courts). This is due to pool liability insurance law. Non-members are welcome to use the bathroom facilities and purchase items from the Snack Shack. If there is no seating available under the overhang, please stay as close to this area as possible.
Family members are not permitted behind the blocks during practices. Only coaches, swimmers, board members, and parents recruited to volunteer are allowed behind the blocks during practice. Please hold any questions that you have for coaches until after practice.
All swimmers and swimmer family members must comply with Swim Club rules and interact respectfully with Swim Club guests and employees while at the Swim Club.
All swimmers and swimmer family members will make sure to clean up any trash, food, and equipment before exiting the pool area after practices and meets.
